Dive! Living off America's Waste

JanforGore
Every year 96 billion pounds of food is thrown away in America... while people go hungry globally. Food crisis? You bet, but not in food scarcity as far as production, but in food wastefulnes, gluttony, and lack of access. And it shows a definite lack of respect for our Earth and what it provides for our needs as well as a disrespect for those who suffer from hunger and malnutrition globally. Access to food is the true crisis we face regarding food. This film shows how we can work in our own way to solve it. Reducing waste is a primary way to conserve resources and show respect for the systems of the Earth that sustain us. The way we now live in America is not sustainable, and it does affect the world.
