It should have been called 'Spider-Man: Turn Off Your Mind.' Not since Carrie the Musical in 1988 has a major stage production mesmerized more than just the Broadway community. The troubled life of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is a media sensation, one that is turning it into a major hit. And, all without the benefit of an opening night or reviews. That’s about to change as a leading media outlet breaks the rule of reviewing preview performances and its pen was definitely dipped in poison. Still, reasons exist as to why audiences are swinging into the Foxwoods Theater in New York in droves.
