Article by Yolanda Evonye Jackson|Lord Hector Diono is said to be a long time music producer from Washington, D.C. who moved to Atlanta September 21, 1989 according to the online press we uncovered, his industry name was given to him by a radio personality from the syndicated radio station V- 103 in Atlanta Georgia named Sydney “Kenny Diamond” Woods, who obtained the idea from Hector’s neighborhood during visits to his shared residence with his brother Kevin L Chambers; it seems that the children of the of the south east Atlanta area who allegedly witnessed a fist fight the rapper was allegedly involved in are said to be the ones credited with actually branding the entertainer with the nickname “Hector” after the professional boxer Macho “Hector Camacho”. The most recent updates came this week from the Apple Corporation about the recording artist known as Lord Hector Diono, an international online music store release of his first single on the Island Def Jam digital music roster entitled “Jacob’s ladder” and a second release in the same week, a single entitled “Convicts”. Hector Diono stated in an online community network site that his next single will separate him from every rapper that has ever touched the microphone. Nobody knows exactly what that means, I know he’s getting it in, and I’ve had time to review his material, he’s nice, but this kind of talk in the hip hop community can raise a lot of egos and concerns about the artist’s angle here. Hector documented the name of the single “Why I Gangsta” and he stated online that it is a certified game changer, aimed at American churches and the mixed messages they send. The single will be released on the Island Def Jam label March 1 2011 despite the fact that even Hector, who produced and performed the record believes it's too far ahead of it's time and will take time to catch on, we’ll see, “I’ll be checking for you Lord Hector”.
