With an ad campaign steeped in ‘Mad Men’ chic, ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ certainly looks like a cool and elegant piece of entertainment. And it is. The coupling of Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in this unusual thriller about fate and free will goes a long way in ensuring you enjoy the chase, same for its exquisite aesthetic. Yet, once you start thinking about the plot, it is hard not to think it is the script that required a little more of an adjustment.
