No, it is not some chick version of ‘The Hangover,’ no matter how the marketing makes it look. The beauty of ‘Bridesmaids’ is just how shrewdly it goes from wicked vulgarity to poignant humanity on a dime. Kristen Wiig sheds her ‘SNL’ self with a supreme performance, aided mightily by a stellar ensemble cast. Even if the film takes too long to get down the aisle, this is the perfect summer party for the masses.
