The film distributor New People will screen the two-part live-action film adaptation of Hiroya Oku's violent afterlife manga Gantz at the Pacific Gaslamp 15 Theatres in San Diego on July 22-23. This coincides with the nearby Comic-Con International, which runs from July 21 to July 24.
The first rated-R Gantz film will run on July 22 at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The unrated sequel, Gantz: Perfect Answer, will run at the same times on July 23.
