Fans of the “Transformers" franchise were relieved to discover the latest installment isn't nearly as bad ad the second film. That seems to be a fairly common response to Michael Bay’s critic-proof popcorn blockbuster. After earning $400 million worldwide in its first weekend it's easy to see why studios love such formulaic dreck.
