The title is "Running Bride" is she running away from an abusive husband? I agree with ateazul. This painting gives me an awful feeling.....there are many wonderful artists in this world who are not using violence against women to gain fame.

while I have previously liked Odd Nerdrum's subject and admired his technique, this.... I am so tired of women's bodies being violenced to make art. next -- slice a woman's body up and put it in formaldehyde.
