The American Jobs Program: The Fix We’re In For: The State of Our Bridges

America's colleges, universities and remaining industries have not stopped working on solutions. They just are not all that VISIBLE to the regular "man on the street". I have been on Current for quite some time and surfing the Internet HARD since 2003, so a lot of innovations have come up on my computer screen over the years.

What I do not yet understand is why they all seem to be locked in some kind of HOLDING PEN but, maybe that's just a "man on the street" false appearance...

I believe this look-down-on-others disposition & mentality has INFECTED THE COLLEGES, INFECTED THE MILITARY, INFECTED THE AMERICAN POLITICIANS, and further that they have come to love wallowing in feeling Superior to 300,000,000+ million Americans.

The river of innovations comes towards us, teases us by showing a bit of ankle then quickly fleets away, til we never get any "sex" we just experience THE MEMORY OF WHAT SEX WAS LIKE... which then stands in lieu of, forms and molds us into PEOPLE WHO ACCEPT SHADOWS AS REALITY.

>>>> For instance, when we would watch the Space Shuttle take off we felt like "we" were going into Outer Space, "we" were succeeding, "we" were achieving, when POINT OF FACT WE PEONS HADN'T DONE ANY OF THAT, "WE" HAD DONE NOTHING >>>> THEY HAD. >>>> What "we" did was keep producing babies to grow up to be THEIR soldiers to go bleed all over foreign ground to protect their American Playground they do so love.

>>>> Which goes a LONG WAYS toward explaining why, when there is no "Real War" going on they keep shipping out the strongest from the gene pool to die, lose limbs (giving their doctors a steady supply of damaged limbless lab rats for new prosthetics) and so on. It's all about them, and shows no signs whatsoever of ever abating. The bully on the playground has everybody sucking up by calling them un-patriotic if they refuse to play the game that keeps them so gosh-wonderfully happy.

I bet driving to work & back over the other [overloaded] bridge was lots of thoughtful people holding PILLOWS.

That looks like a lot of work.
