The first image of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury in Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster The Avengers was released today. The film, based on the comic book of the same name, is due in theaters on May 4, 2012. The film also stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, and Scarlett Johansson as a team of superheroes.
