When NBC removed the quirky sitcom “Community” from their mid-season schedule the show's cult following went berserk. Fans launched petitions via Twitter and Facebook and in an ironic twist, got the show selected as TV Guide Magazine’s second annual Fan Favorites winner. Is anyone minding the store at the struggling network, or is this a part of NBC's calculated strategy?

    • I'm one of the heretics who think "Arrested Development" had gone as far as its quirky stylings would take it and that three years was a blessing for this offbeat delight. I would have left well enough alone but I'm still eagerly waiting for the Netflix 10 episode arc next year and then the movie. Meanwhile, "Community" fans can't complain NBC hasn't done right by their show. It's had the best possible slot for a sitcom on NBC for three seasons. It's not like having the plug pulled after 18 scattered episodes like "Freaks & Geeks." Now that's a show NBC wasted.
