One of the cameras that was used in the filming of "Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope" (from 1977), broke the record for the most expensive Star Wars memorabilia.

The Panavision PSR 35mm camera, the camera that was used in a majority of the shots, fetched $625,000 (or roughly £390,000 or over €466,000) by an anonymous bidder in an auction in California, USA. The camera also includes a filming package that features speed motor, lenses and two magazines of film (that measures 2,000 feet) is fully restored and fully functioned.
