Nikki Finke broke the TOLDJA!!!!! news yesterday, weeks after being burned burned by Summit in the LA Times, and had hinted at it on Tuesday.
We checked around the Internet to see if this was important or not. Here's what we found:
- Latino Review re-ran the press release Finke had.
- Mr. Beaks at Aint It Cool asked the same question we just did.
- E!Online is non-plussed.
- MTV Movies Blog says Slade is smart and more of a risk-taker than New Moon director Chris Weitz.
- Entertainment Weekly boiled everything down to a paragraph.
- indieWire took two paragraphs.
- Access Hollywood copied and pasted the press release and then the Wikipedia plot summary.
And we just stopped caring. Yawn.
