We're Watching: The Bronson Trailer
This is a case of a great film being mistreated by a genre-distribution company that's desperate to "sell" you on something. Which isn't to say I don't like Magnet--no, in fact when they're on, they're dead on.The problem is this new trailer for Bronson makes it look like you're watching cheap Tarantino imitation instead of the latest amazing film from the director of The Pusher Trilogy.
Compared to the UK trailer, which focuses on Pet Shop Boys' It's A Sin, the Magnet U.S. version plays with a guitar muzak intro that sounds like Shin Jingi Naki Tatakai. But Bronson is definitely one of 2009's stand-out films and must be seen. It's engrossing and you'll find a more comprehensive review from me when the film is released on October 9th.
