Mini Trailer Time: Assault Girls
Once again, the age-old adium of "I have made two short films, I can combine them for maximum potential!" rings true. This time, it rings true with giant flying sand worms and Bang-Bang from The Brothers Bloom. Now this teaser for Mamoru Oshii's Assault Girls is the sum of two similarly named shorts featured in Shin-Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden and Kiru~Kill.
Of course, the only actress you'll recognize if you're not a fan of Japanese film is Rinko Kikuchi. Either way, Girls is in limited release (in Japan) in December. And the post-production is still in progress. So take a look:
