We're Watching: Lemmy Drive Through the Desert
When we do our clean-up over on Current.com/Movies for related and unrelated material, there are times that I'm frankly stumped. Because this teaser trailer for Hardware, a clunky sci-fi flick from the 90s by Richard Stanley, is a bit of a mystery.
In it, we're treated to Lemmy (or Motorhead fame) driving a cab in a cameo. Sure, fine, great, whatever. But I saw this film a long time ago, and it gets much weirder including cameos from GWAR, Iggy Pop and scenes from Salo. So, is it also Music? Is it a Comedy? Is it Green (since, you know, world destruction and all.) Is it Tech because of cyborgs?
I don't know.
I do know it comes out on DVD next week. It isn't nearly as entertaining as this clip though.
