Weekend Peekend with Astro Boy, Cirque Du Freak, Amelia and Saw VI

It's Friday and you need ideas for what you want to see this weekend. Let Brett and Ellen give you the weekend peekend above, while we bring you what our friends at Rotten Tomatoes are saying:

Astro Boy has one of the highest Tomatometer ratings at 46 percent. Lars Von Trier's Antichrist is at 49 percent and Jonathan Parker's (Untitled) is at 45 percent.

Check out the rest below the jump.

The tween-vamp Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant is hanging around with a 36 percent on the Tomatometer.

James Rocchi is already dreading the inevitable franchise:

You can sense it in the film's shape and structure; all laborious set-up, a climax that feels more like the lead up to the halftime whistle, the introduction of too many characters and an overall feel of pained, panicked over-exertion that's about as appealing as watching your waiter grow sweat-stains under the armpit of his shirt at a restaurant.

Peter Travers didn't dig it either.

SAW VI didn't screen for critics, so reviews will continue pouring in throughout the day. But it currently has a bloodless 22 percent on the Tomatometer. The horror gurus at Dread Central and Bloody Disgusting were a-ok with the latest addition to the horror franchise. The rest aren't as glowing.

Bringing in the lowest end is the Hillary Swank biopic Amelia with 17 percent. Ebert really liked it. A lot of other people didn't.

But luckily, you can decide for yourselves! Send us your webcam reviews for Amelia, Saw VI and Cirque Du Freak this Sunday [10/25] by midnight and you could get on The Rotten Tomatoes Show next Thursday. And if you're in Los Angeles, come check us out at the Reblog This Film Festival on Monday [10/26] at 7 pm.
