Harry Potter and the Traveling Museum
There are the books, of course, and the movies. There's even an amusement park. But now the latest addition to the Harry Potter world might be coming to a museum near you. Harry Potter: The Exhibition has apparated from Chicago to Boston and now Seattle, where it's able to be viewed at the Pacific Science Center through January.
The design of the exhibit kept you moving from the Hogwarts Express to the halls of Hogwarts, past the Fat Lady and into the Gryffindor Dormitory, the Quidditch Pitch, Hagrid's Hut, the Forbidden Forest, and a jaunt through the dark side, all with an incredible attention to detail.

Each of the props and costumes on display had clearly been given an enourmous amount of attention. From the tiny moth holes in Ron Weasley's hand-me-down sweater to the impressive detailing and expensive fabric on Gilderoy Lockhart's robes, it's clear that an enourmous amount of thought and attention went into each item. It's hard to stop from reaching out over the ropes and touching some of the pieces.

There's also a chance to interact with the exhibit -- you can pull a crying Mandrake out of its pot, try your hand at getting a Quaffle through a hoop, and sit in Hagrid's chair (two small adults can fit comfortably side by side) -- all of which gives you a feeling of being part of the universe. (Just don't mess with Kreacher).

In lieu of actually going on set (since they're no longer filming the series, having shot parts one and two of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows back to back), this might be the next best thing.
