Yes y'all. Another revolutionary initiative coming out of Oakland California.The collaborative mission of the global Hip Hop Congress " is to use the culture of Hip Hop to inspire young people to get involved social action, civic service, and cultural creativity" Beautiful. Just beautiful.

    • Aaaaaaaah, let us not forget where we learned of the Hip hop Congress at KPFA. While assisting VC2 producer, Ben Galland, shoot THE hyphy piece, we had a chance to do some self promo... We interviewed T-Kash, host of Friday Night Vibe, who asked us to guest on the show. The show is cool, but if you can't listen to it all, FF to 43:00 and 56:00. Will I get flagged for self promo? HOLLER!!!

    • I just saw Immortal Technique @ Rock the Bells in LA and he was incredible. They picked the perfect 'headliner' for the message they're trying to get across. Too bad The Coup isn't involved with this.
