It's been awhile since I heard a new Diplo mix. Tracklist looks good. Can't go wrong with the Belle Stars and Eddie Money.

    • ok, can anyone find this mix as a mp3? i heard the bbc radio1 essential mix, and in the intro they play nirvana + pop lock and drop it... and i see he plays the whole (?) song in this mix as song number 10.... i need it

    • It has an uncanny resemblance to Diplo's Radio 1 Essential Mix which aired around the same time as the posting. I think he just tacked on a bit to the beginning and end of it for radio. That might explain the lawyers?

    • I wrote that piece for Pitchfork. They took it down after their lawyers scared them into thinking they might get sued for whatever small amount they could make. But the mix was free, the tracks mostly produced by Diplo, and, when was the last time a website was sued? Especially one as influential as Pitchfork?

      Anyway, my mix series needs a new home... any suggestions?
