Check out Nic's old station online sometime. Before you guys got him in L.A., we were blessed with him on WDST in woodstock, ny ... one of the last independants you can catch it at wdst.com of course. I miss nic!, so I'll have to check it out .. they broadcast sounds eclectic so at least I still get some.
Nic was around here to inform us from the woodstock '94 site on friday night "the gates are down and its a free flowing crowd" My trepidations about getting locked in as the state troopers were planning ended and we walked two miles into the site ... what a blast! - 4 years ago

(although I hear there's dope pirate station based in the Horsehead Nebula.)
Nic Harcourt is a true tastemaker, and Chocolate City (Garth Trinidad) and Metropolis (Jason Bentley) are consistently solid hip-hop/R&B and Electronica shows (respectivley).
I live in SF but listen to KCRW all the time online. So should all earthlings.

go see Once, the #10 album on the list. It was amazing. Easily one of the best movies I've ever seen. Awesome.
