But why should they have all the fun and who cares what they think anyway? I want to know what the tastemakers on current dot com were bumping in '07. So what are your favorite albums of 2007? Here's my linked-up top 20 of the year that was:

    • Grizzly Bear - Friend EP
      El-P - I'll Sleep When You're Dead
      Deerhoof - Friend Opportunity
      Feist - The Reminder
      MIA - Kala
      Panda Bear - Person Pitch

      Menomena - Friend And Foe
      Mad-lib - Yesterday's Universe

I got to see a lot of these bands when I flew out to Chicago for the Pitchfork music festival in July, which was pretty awesome.

      As far as books go:
Then We Came To The End by Joshua Ferris
I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert

but I really want to read The Raw Sharks Text. I think that'll be my next read. Any other suggestions?

    • This is #1 my Top Lists List! Nice on Dan!

Totally agree about LCD's SOS album. Fools be swingin from James Murphy's disco balls like Tarzan

The LCD Nike + album is a classic though, and Burial is something dark and incredible. Macabre 2-Step, you cant make this stuff up.
