    • everyone has there own way of expressing themselves to music, hardcore isn't taht black and white though, i don't believe that hardcore dancing should be reserved soley to hardcore, if i am at a metal gig and im feeling a particualar part of a song i might 2step to it, for other parts i might want to mosh, or windmill or whatever, it shouldnt be that you dance differently to each different genre of music.dancing is expression of your feelings physically and emotionally and so as music affects us all differently emotionally speaking, we should be free to express them however we want physically, right???

    • I'm straight edge too.

Though I don't hardcore dance cause, I look like an idiot.
(and I'm clumsy, not to mention a short 15 year old girl)
so I mosh. I prefer it. I like being in the mass of people who are being slammed into each other. It feels so great.

    • I understand what you mean about the dancing part. I created this piece for a photojournalism class i was taking (thus the emphasis on photos and not other mediums). I was trying to give a taste of the hardcore scene in general, emphasized by the dancing. However, i would like to do something like this again with video instead of pictures and a better representation of hardcore music (and the dancing) for those who have never been exposed to it. Thanks for the recommendations!

    • Uhm, if you're going to make a video about a "hardcore dancer", you probably want to show some dancing in the the first 30 seconds. Not still pictures!
