    • BusheySquare... At the moment there is no deal in place for this program to air on Current in the UK. *sigh*

diverider... I'm sure there is a way to rip the flash video from the site. What it is, I do not know and cannot condone doing it. I did notice that individual songs are available on an other very large video site and I believe there are a number of sites/apps to rip from there.

    • is there any way of saving the video for us users? I would like to review it but burning it on a CD.

Sucha great present for this new year!

I'm actious to buy In Rainbows: I had to constrain myself and wait for it to be in stores. Tomorrow's the day! (on monday, in Portugal, there were no signs of the record to be in stores, and today is holyday)

Tomorrow will be holyday as well ;-)

amazing film. radiohead you made my new year's day, thank you! i would like to esp. mention phil, ed, and colin who aren't talked of often enough - you guys are fantastic! ed harmonises so beautifully and phil & colin are enchanting (phil was in bliss with his eyes closed most of the time).

    • Real and raw and everything i'd hoped for. Especially liked Thom and Jonny in the field playing Faust Arp with wind in mic, what a great spot. Piss foam, ski masks, and nervous squares with flailing arms, huzzah! From their first album Radiohead has never ceased to impress me and Scotch Mist is no exception. Good show, guys, thank you so much for the intimacy and honesty that is this video; i love you even more for it. Cheers!

    • That was great, I watched it at midnight here in the UK and fell asleep around 'All I Need' I think. I'm glad I watched it back today though as my favourite part was the slow motion version of 'Nude' at the end.

I'm excted by everything Radiohead are doing at the moment; they really seem to be settled into their labelless stuation, and it's obvious that they're doing these free webcasts etc. because they want to be doing them - much better than some forced promo tour. If I'm honest though I think the tickets for the London shows next summer are a little too highly priced for my wallet, which is sad because they've been one of my favourite bands for a long time and I've never had chance to see them live.

    • I've been an RH addict for a few years now...and have spun "in rainbows" many times...
why this time then were tears in my eyes and my fingers shaking on the mouse as Videotape aired?
      reborn yet again perhaps?
i've been eaten by the worms and weird fishes i guess !

PS--Phil absolutely 'owns' this album...percussion has never sounded this good!

    • I hate to sound negative but I am desperately terrified of the day that I don't have Radiohead in my life. Done The Beatles, Led Zep, Floyd and Steely Dan etc. Nothing......nothing comes close to these guys. Surely the best band that will ever be.... It is a great honour and a privilege to have been around to share this. Being selfish - I just want some other band to break through with the same/different awesome talent so that I will have a safety net for that dreadful day......

    • I admit, I didn't download the album, so this was my first time hearing the new material. The performances here were all studio grade and It proves they can lay it down live, which is great. Thank you to the band and Current for the experience.

I'm a fan of every Radiohead album to date, and In Rainbows is really definitive of a band who came from the garage fundamental, broke down barriers of melody and electronics, yet made it all relevant in the end. A grassroots Radiohead experience that feels equally current and ahead of its time.

    • Radiohead are truly artists in every sense of the word. They don't seem to let what the world thinks of them influence what they do. I appreciate that. There's a certain amount of insanity to everything they do. I appreciate that. To counteract the insanity, there's a certain amount of effortless fun and groundedness (not a word, but you know what I mean) to everything they do. I thank them for all they do. Oh yes, and thank you to Current for having the foresight and ability to put this on air.

thank you radiohead for doing this. i can't think of a better way of beginning my new year than watching this with the people closest to me.

i hope that this starts a trend with other bands ... though i doubt that anyone can match the ?coolness? of tonight?s broadcast.

Major props to all involved; Deanna, David, Davis, Manoj, Mark, Micah, Tim, Cory, Smith, Andrew, Massi, Frank, Jessica, and Karol. It has been a great year, here's to another. -tom

I've always found the music very soothing in a haunting kind of way. Podcast would of been cool w/7.1surround its a song off compared to the TV

    • This is interesting because Radiohead is, in my opinion, the best band to ever grace sound waves, and having the pleasure of a New Year's Eve mini concert is a great way to ring in the new year.
