Super Furry Animals have announced they're letting their fans choose the setlists for their upcoming US shows via a nifty voting widget on their Beggars Group Blog.
According to the site, the results are being logged in real time and are fed to the band "as they course around the US."
What a great idea. As bands explore how they can continue to make money with the rise in people downloading music for free, this is a very good incentive. Every show's presumably going to be unique and the chance to influence what songs get played is a massive draw for me.

That's a much better way to do it than this little polling device that scans people's mobile phone music via WiFi and creates a playlist based on the most popular overall genre or tracks.
