    • i don't think there's a huge risk of tickets not selling. although frankly, the headliner is a new low. bring on kylie minogue (or jason donavon) i say...that's what glastonbury was created for :(

    • Right now the phrase "Nobody's to let Emily talk to the press on her own again" is probably doing the rounds in Worthy Farm.

They're good at hyping up the festival and making people think they can't afford to miss out. Every single year Eavis Snr comes out with "I definitely think this year will be the best yet, we've got some incredible things planned' and it always works.

    • If Jay-z is headlining it had better not be the last one. On a more picture related theme, there are loads of tentpegs just impaled into the ground all over the site. I can't help but feel that kid is gonna get one impaled into his chest. Not to mention him getting a healthy combo of cholera and tuberculosis.

    • Do you reckon “It’s a risky, risky business and it would be nice to think, to know that it could go on forever, (but) I don’t know if that’s possible." is a family phrase as well?

    • Love the 'obligatory mud/idiot picture'.

Michael Eavis has denied 2008 will be the last one, saying the expression "treat it as if it is the last" is actually a family phrase and reporters had taken it out of context.
