Arcade Fire are rallying behind Barack Obama by playing two free shows in Nelsonville and Cleveland, Ohio ahead of the state's primary voting. The Daily Fix goes to Ohio for in depth coverage. Not really, but we've got video clips!

    • I know this is old news, but I still think it's cool. The Arcade Fire are one of my favorite bands, and I like to see them continue to do great things like this. I hear about their shows and how much energy they have and how they let people up on stage or they'll play in lobbies or on the street. This just makes me want to see them live so much more.

    • True, it may only create a minimal impact, however the accelerated increase in young voters today may partly be due to every "minimal impact" made by musicians and celebrities over the past few years. Every minimal impact adds up! I think it's great!

    • The endorsement he needed to put him over the top. Isn't every musician behind Obama? Not really sure about nerdy white guys doing "A Change is Gonna Come". I guess it is a good thing that they are going out and trying to get people more active, but we're probably fooling ourselves if we think the impact is anything but minimal.
