NYU graduates, Greg Petronzi and Akil Davis performed just yesterday at the NYU Chapter of Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society.
Selling their CDs, a portion of their profits were going towards Relay and brought some soulful music to the event doing several covers like Hendrix and their own originals (my favorite is Go Away).
I had never really heard anything like them; give 'em a listen. It's like going to a poetry slam and a rock concert at the same time.
