    • Husker Du is great and I totally agree with Mould. It's like the movement that (early) Public Enemy started was punk. Stravinsky's classical works are punk considering there was an riot over his piece "The Rite of Spring". Public Enemy had something to say. Stravinsky had a different sound that did not completely fit the mold of classical music. Now that's f*cking punk!!

There are still musicians today who want to do it up differently. They want to have an uprising of the youth and culture that has something to say and that can generate something. So Mould is so right. It's not about sounding like The Clash or Black Flag, it's about the movement and being different.

It's so great you talked to him!

    • I love punk. Not that crap people say is punk but that real stuff. As GG would say “Drink fight and F.” if your music doesn’t fit into that description you’re not punk. I hate sites like absolutepunk.com they’ve stolen my culture.
