University of California to get a whole lot of Grateful Dead stuff

The Grateful Dead, whose songs celebrated personal freedom, American idealism and mind-altering drugs, will donate a cache of their papers, posters and props to the University of California, Santa Cruz, which plans to use the musical miscellany as part of a research center to be known as Dead Central.

    • Ok...kinda funny, the only other person to comment went to the same high school as i did. I searched for UCSC and this didn't come up...kinda makes me disappointed. anyways it is totally cool but i believe the only reason we are getting this is because of our liberal reputation and our hippy perception which usually goes along with the grateful dead
