    • I love this. Fantastic band. It is good to know they are influenced by writers like Jack Kerouac. There best album next to "you can play these songs with chords."

    • I love this video. I wish there were more "behind the scenes" videos on bands like Death Cab for Cutie, and I would also love to work on them:)

    • I secretly like this band. They're like my guilty pleasure. Guilty because (ON THE SURFACE) they just seem and sound like a whole lot of other bands- nothing special. Guitars melodies drums

But one day I actually listened to - not heard, but listened to the music. And realized oh my god. There is some serious and major substance here. Even in their catchy tunes. The lyrics are....they have thought in them.
So now I own every album. Death Cab is a regular staple in my iPod.

Narrow stairs feels like it should have been released in the Fall /Winter rather than the springtime. Or maybe it's just me.
Mixing this album with warm weather and sunshine throws me off.
In any case. Bless this Band

    • this is the most amazing thing.
death cab is my absolute faveorite band, and it's rather amazing that they are still coming out strong from album to album. death cab will always be my inspiration, from their music to their family-like relationship. this was amazing to see on television.

    • Ahhh I love Death Cab for Cutie...I love them so much that I waited outside the Wow Hall, Eugene, OR for FIVE hours before we were even let in...it was worth the wait of course! But any way I just watched the documentary and it was awesome, nice job! However I was just wondering if the clip they took of my friends, I...a short interview is anywhere to be viewed...they said we could see it on here!? Well best of luck on the rest of your tour guys!!!

    • I loves me some DCFC!!!

Great Piece. It is done really well, represents Seattle as truly what it is... inspiration.

Finally a band that knows about how to live in the moment. To realize they are making something more than them..

Also, a great example of the creative process and how to let a group of artists distinguish their roles as part of the big picture...

    • Alex and Justin, you are Gods among artists. What a beautiful collision of sensitive, beautiful cinematography, elegant, considered direction and editing, and gloriously melodic music played by fascinating characters with an uplifting sotry.

    • I'm feeling selfish and don't want to see Death Cab become too popular. They seem like a great bunch of guys really enjoying what they are doing.

    • I like that Ben is into Superchunk...I'm hoping this album has a little more meat to it than Plans, which was enjoyable but eventually lost it's charm (although Directions was fascinating).
