i wanted to go to Underage festival... but I'm too old... no booze there anyway, so screw them!
Just kidding.
On another note... I quite like Bombay Bicycle Club.

There used to be a restaurant by my house called the Bombay Bicycle Club! Unfortunately it was close while I was still "underage" so I could never afford to go. :P

I think it is great! I have seen kids as young as 10 singing and playing and that is great! About success and fame, just do not let that go over your head!

There was this young boy around me-- maybe 10 years old-- who sang and played guitar on the local blues circuit and had developed a huge following because of his talent (which was great!) and the novelty of this kid playing the blues. It was pretty sweet!
Unfortunately, much of the blues circuit involves playing in bars, so even though he could legally drink there if he wanted to because his parents are ALWAYS with him while he's performing, he's not legally allowed to play there anymore because there's a law that says minors can't perform in a place like that.
I guess he'd been doing it for a while without anyone-- club owners included-- realizing they were doing anything wrong, and then somebody tipped off the authorities and they went after the kid's folks.
They were all really cool about it, though. They want to do what's best for their son, and he seems pretty level-headed himself. I think he's playing local festivals now instead.
10 years old? Wow, man. That just blows my mind! ;D

This just seems- argh! It seems so undeserved! And to see what success does to people twice their age-- I can only imagine what it's like being 13 and told by so many people how special and wonderful you are...
I mean-- that's got to feel so good having that kind of success, and I hope these kids have happiness from being able to do what they (presumably) love, but I don't know that I would feel right encouraging my own kids to pursue something like this. It feels like too much too soon, you know?
Hm. Have to think about this a little more...

Why don't you goto their my space pages and decide on merit of their music -- and hey, it's not exactly the Jackson 5 or Britney in the sick stakes?
They're organic talent - and they're doing really well... am surprised by your negative response but hey ho, that's what current.com is for!
