The Streets turn green for latest album

Infamous UK MC Mike Skinner has decided to ditch his trademark lyrics about drugs, booze and women evident in his previous albums and opt for something a little greener.

His fourth studio album will be called 'Everything is borrowed' and as the Sun so wonderfully put it, will be " more concerned with chemicals that damage the earth than those that pickled Mike’s brain."

One of the tracks, 'The Way Of The Dodo' features the lyrics “It’s not the earth that’s in trouble/It’s the people who live on it/It will be here long after we’ve all gone the way of the Dodo.”

The lyrics show Mike's vow to try and 'avoid writing about modern tittle-tattle' on his latest album and try and stick to an album made up solely of parables. He decided against just the parables as he thought it sounded a "bit preachy."

Now, Let's push things forward...
