Footloose album in a whole new light

Doveman, aka Thomas Bartlett, has made a cover of the Footloose album in its entirety. But it won't have you kicking off your blue suede shoes. It's a hushed take on the 80s soundtrack inspired by quite a sad story. Bartlett's friend lost his sister about 20 years ago and he only knew her by her possessions. He was going through her things and found her Footloose tape. So he gave the lyrics to Bartlett (who had never heard any of the songs, apparently) and had him re-interpret the entire soundtrack to help him deal with his grief. What the two created is a masterpiece, in my opinion. You'll never listen to these songs the same way again.
