Puerto Rico Punk Rock

This is never before seen footage--the actual VHS tape was full of fungus since I found it in 1992 and wouldn't run for years.It was only in 2000 when I passed it to another tape; which later in 2005 was passed into DVD.The band had been playing for a year by this date, this was shot in a small d.i.Y. show poorly advertised by some locals in a not so happening part of town. THis band will end up calling themeselves LOPODRIDO, influencing alot of local punk bands, and even garage gods DAVILA 666. Part of the dancing audience were already in bands or were to become part of the island's west coast rock scene. CURRENTLY Puerto Rico has a interesting varied scene of great "rock" bands, but the begginings of the scene are still shrouded in a desinformation cloud(not many serious writers or media/ you can call this censored rock). So I thought we should start somewhere to remember part of the visual lost history. It's relevance? --Rechazo Social and the bands that constantly played at Shadows Cafe/ LA TEA club /etc. and the scene till 1994 were the bands that held the torch in the darkest times for underground music in the island.
