Wednesday afternoon, Barack Obama was officially named the Democratic Party's Presidential Nominee, crowning his groundbreaking, historic meteoric rise from a little-known Illinois state senator to becoming the first African-American ever to win a major-party’s presidential nomination.

Thursday night, the National Democratic Convention moves to Denver's Invesco Field so that more Americans can be a part of the fourth night of the Convention, where Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination for President. A crowd that is now estimated to be larger than 80,000 people is expected to attend the final convention assembly to hear Obama's acceptance speech.

Obama’s acceptance speech will be given on the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, which King delivered from the steps of Washington's Lincoln Memorial on August 28th, 1963.

This article presents a number of photographs, a replayable live-blogging of Obama's nomination at the convention and three videos (including a video of Obama's nomination at the convention on Wednesday). In addition, a remarkable photo-gallery documents the entire course of Obama's presidential campaign, accompanied by music audio.
