    • This falls under Fair use.

Heart is using a scare tactic to try to get them to stop, but the Republicans actually have a leg to stand on and could fight them in court and possibly win.

Heart should stop before they lose this battle.

    • Cease & desist!!! CEASE & DESIST!

Simple, legal, relevant. Who do these people think they are that they can just infringe someone's intellectual property and not be brought to task? Aren't these the very same so called 'patriots' who love all things American? I'm so tired of these thieving ass, lying ass, trifling ass, self-entitled, disrespectful ass neo-conservative fools: CUT IT OUT!

      i_like_facts,

Typical. You lack even the most basic skills to engage in dialogue which requires one to absorb, process and respond to information based on FACTS without double talking out of the side of your neck in an attempt to divert attention away from the FACT that you really have nothing useful to say.

This is what your party is built on and will ultimately be their legacy, and so this attitude is not at all surprising from the likes of you. I do, however, find it odd that you've selected the username 'i_like_facts' considering that you clearly don't deal with facts, or with reality for that matter.

The FACT of the matter is that the McCain campaign took it upon themselves to use someone's intellectual property to represent their cause without that parties permission, and in the real world, my friend, this is called stealing.

Now I understand that from the delusional, right wing perspective, this issue of stealing is a fuzzy, gray area, similar to the concept that the the truth is only acceptable if it falls in line with your agenda, and a lie is only a lie if you get busted.

Allow me to let you in on a little secret 'i_like_facts': the rest of the world does not live in your fuzzy gray area. Some people actually do recognize bullshit double talk and shuckin' and jivin' and bobbin' and weavin', and we're tired of it. And in the end, you really just end up looking like the fucking idiot you are.

The Fact is I live in reality everyday, struggling to pay my bills, etc...... Oh and the democrates never use another parties songs, ideas, what ever the hell you got to tell yourself to think that your right. You are right about one thing though, some logical people do live in a more gray are, but there are only a few who live in this fuzzy gray area. And that is liberals. bottom line, so while you dwell in this disillusion that your party will divide and concur- oh what this country is already divided because most people lack the guts to take action and stand up for what IS right!!! the right party is called the right party for good reasons. maybe try looking into that yourself. Yes I know you are going to respond back , but I do look into this and that and well blah blah blah. All I see and hear is bullshit spewing forth from the party that may just cause the downfall of this society- with your lets hold hands and fucking sing, we will make a change- yeah but not doing a damn thing to actually help the people struggling! when it comes to politics sweetheart words are just fucking words. So go right now and grab a mirror, look into and say (and show )what the liberal party is all about..... repeat after this.... BaaaBaaa Baaaaaa

    • Some people cannot work for 40+ hours a week, some people are incapacitated for whatever reasons, some people need help and support. Would you deny them the same rights? If so, you would be condemning millions of innocent people to a life of total misery and suffering and even starvation and death. Anything can happen to anyone. Tomorrow, you could be a victim of a stray bullet or a road accident that leaves you incapacitated and unable to work 40+ hours a week - by your standards, you would then deserve to be abandoned by society and left to rot.

The basis of a good and just society is basically socialistic - it is built on the concept of "from each according to their means, to each according to their needs". The libertarian society is guaranteed to break down very fast, because it lacks social cohesion.

I am not talking about people with disabilities. I am talking about able body people. I have a friend that I care about dearly, but because she just does not want to work she declared depression disability. She is absolutely able to work but rather than caring for her children she uses tax payers money and child support to drink and smoke. Is that fair? Hell no. yes shit happens people get hurt and of course they should not be abandoned by society. But is this not why we pay into certain taxes? such as short and long term disability and social security. so when one does get hurt they have money they have worked for to help themselves.

    • our founding fathers wanted independence from purely government rule! yes that is why i say we are practically a oligarchy. we the people are divided and money rules. The government has to much of a part in our lives- and that works for some people but I personally can take care of myself, like I am sure you are capable of. I do not need a bunch of government "hand outs" and I take it back yes some of the countries you sited did not start out socialist.
      so·cial·ism [soh-shuh-liz-uhm] Pronunciation
      –noun
      1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.
      2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
      3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
      Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)

Another very big reason I do not want the government to have more power is because I do not believe in equal right for everyone!!!!!!!! If i work my ass off 40+ hours a week, while someone else works 10 hours and they do not work as hard and in fact quite lazy why the hell should they have the same or more rights then me. I believe in individualism -an eye for an eye type thing. People should HAVE to work for what they want and need, not have it handed to them on a silver platter- this seems to be the majority these days, especially in politics. their are many, many types and forms of socialism that just maybe could benefit this country in some ways. However what obama is proposing is a form of communism and just take one look at china and we can all see how crappy it is for them. lol I like the "social democracy" because it is people giving to the people, helping out the people, etc..... not the government hand outs!

    • No, none of the countries I cited "started out this way", nor did they adopt it in their "developmental" stages, quite the contrary. All of them were very much right-wing at the beginning of the 20th century, and suffered much as a consequence. As for the USA being an established democracy, that is a very funny statement. The USA is not a democracy at all, it never really was, and it is a sham "democracy" where the people have little to no power. On the other hand, the countries I cited which prospered under socialism (and still do) are much more democratic than the USA ever has been. By definition, social democracies are for the people, by the people and of the people. Right-wing countries are just the opposite.

    • Vierotchka, I am glad you are this "free thinker" and I to did not want to vote for either of them this election because they are both.... for lack of a better word, crap. However I would like to know where you got this info that Palin is totally corrupt. that fact that she is a politician this day and age, well of course she is corrupt! lol! but she is real down to earth person. and has done absolute wonders for Alaska! that is why i will vote for McCain/Palin come November, in hopes that well maybe McCain will pass on and she will take over. funny, I know but anything is better then obama at this point! and you are absolutely right about what socialism and has done for some countries! However those countries started out that way, or adopted it early in their countries "developmental" stages. To throw socialism on our country that was founded For the people, by the people, of the people is just asking for the end of independent rights- we are an established democracy- well at this point we are almost an oligarchy.

    • I do nothing else but non-bias research, and come to the only logical conclusions possible. Since I am a humanist and I love people and humans, I cannot be on the right which is anti people and pro elite. I don't follow any herd, I am a free thinker, I was raised to be a free thinker. Anyway, I won't be voting for anyone come November. With regard to socialism, the most prosperous and advanced countries in the world are basically socialist countries - Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

Yes, past records speak louder than words, that is why Palin has proven to be totally corrupt!

    • then sadly vierotchka, I see why you swing left. You probably do not do any NON BIAS research, and YES there is such a thing, again I wouldn't expect you to no that! Anyone who says "I heard that.........." well that is what is wrong with liberals, they only want to hear what other liberals have to say as opposed to checking each party out. Choosing rep/dem because that is what you were raised with or just following the heard-Well that ladies and gentlemen is just one reason that keeps our country so divided. So if you vote for obama you vote our rights away by giving this smooth talker more government power and the hard working people less rights. This is one foundation of socialism. I personally can and will think for myself and I have chose to go right in this election because I DO my research and facts, proof and a politicians past records speak much louder then words!!!!!

    • Appealing to voters most often resembles a popularity contest; the winner tends to be the one with the empty slate, the non-partisan image, the pompous rhetoric, and the cool-kid reputation.

Reminiscent of the “Fairness Doctrine” in broadcasting, “separation of church and state” is used to silence those the left/liberals disagrees with and/or those whose message the left does not want heard. Why you ask? Because allowing people to hear a conservative viewpoint - which is often supported by more evidence, fact, logic, and reason than the liberal positions- might actually convince people to think for themselves and out of lock-step with liberals. AKA sheeple (sheep people)

He’s a purely media driven creation. That’s not to say he couldn’t pull 40% of the Dem vote, but they’d vote for a carrot f it was nominated.

    • Seems the Republicans have no problem censoring anything disagreeable with their agenda from the liberal mainstream, as long as they can exploit popular liberal catch phrases. Why vote for a candidate that relies on tired old cliches? That's exactly the image Mc Bush projects, where everything is scripted, and lacks any sense of conviction or sincerity.

Pain and Mc Same, like some of their predecessors, come off as nothing more than hack jobs. They are so out of touch with mankind, that rather than approach artists for their endorsements, they bypass them all together shrugging off accusations of "elitism". I guess it was only a matter of time before Mc Cain plagiarized Obama's slogan by stating, "Change is coming." The only changes I see Mc Cain making, is scrambling to keep up with his opposition.

What matters most is people voting with their own conscious voices and not the voices of others. Here's an example- Jon Bon Jovi is supporting Obama/Biden. The Bon Jovi fans I know are all supporting McCain/Palin. Is this a celebrity telling fans how they should vote? I don't think so.

Look at this site...how many articles are for Palin against how many are for Obama and I'm sure that she's barely trailing him and he's been in the media limelight for over a year.

She's been blasted in the news and people continue to talk about her. So it's not the Republicans that are doing this...it's everyone else that's perpetuating it.
