Reports are coming in that former Marilyn Manson band member Brad Stewart (a.k.a. Gidget Gein) has died. He was apparently found at his Burbank home yesterday (Thursday, October 9). An overdose is suspected to be the cause of his death, but the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office aren't issuing any details until his family have been notified.

Stewart played bass with Manson from 1989 through 1993. He was fired from the band, and was replaced by Twiggy Ramirez, however his influence remained apparent in Manson's style and music.

    • Roxane Davis here, Creator of the TV show we were doing for him called "Confessions Of A Bagboy". I never thought he'd be carried out in one. To his note - i received an email the night of his death 11:49pm. It was his first time to use in almost a year. I've been in the business for 15 years and have never seen talent like i saw in Gidget Gein. Overall talent. His writing, his confessions of when he was a bagboy, his art. He was one of the greatest, sweetest, softhearted, unpretentious people i have ever met. It's a tragedy and i hope we continue his legacy of XOXO Gidget Gein AKA The Bagboy. myspace.com/roxstarcasting for blogs that i will be posting of his
