    • My friend just told me she wrote in Stephen Colbert on her ballot today. I am laughing so hard. She lives in a blue state. She doesn't "believe" in Obama. She knew that a vote for McCain wouldn't make a "statement" she said.

    • You want my vote, Ratty rat rat?

No, no, now, let's not be that way. I was only trying to say that it would be healthier if the opposition to keep the door open to unity, but I understand if you don't want to.

Hey, it's still a free country! Isn't it?

I apologize to all offended because I regret that I said I pitied you. I meant that I was sympathetic and would feel bad if I thought the country was making a mistake.

    • I've been researching a new president since 2004 when we voted Bush back in office. I looked long and hard at them all. Barack Obama worked hard to gain my trust and I believe he will not abuse the public trust like some people, cough, sarah palin, cough

I know the falsehoods that have been put out there for people to consume.

    • Thank your son for me for serving our country. I wish you as his mother could see that he was defending our country and it was HIS choice to join the military no one made him. If the OBAMA's truly loved our country his wife would not have said that for the first time in her life she can say she is proud to be an American because a black man is running for President. Also is they truly love our Country they would have left that church years ago. When you go to a church for 20years, have a close relationship with the pastor, and do not have a problem with him saying G** D**** AMERICA and is a known racist until an election pops up then you do not truly love a country. So OBAMA's pie plan to make every AMERICAN WORK whether they want to or not is a good thing then? and his little tax college bill is not going to help students because he is going to chose what field we go into. that is pure communism. if Bush and Cheney did not want to educate us they would not have created the NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND! If change for the better is a socialistic on the verge of communistic then i guess your right about OBAMA'S change being good. no you need to look at the TRUTH not what the media is spitting out at you but go research OBAMA for yourself and then youll find out the real truth!!

    • Wow, it's funny how you can say that. The Obama's obviously love and are grateful this country. The GOP was trying to ruin it. Taking away our rights in the name of security, shoving our jobs overseas while the fat cats still make money. The stupid war that almost killed my son. Bush and McCain are the ones who want to rape our resources, to imprison our young people instead of educating them and to keep the populace in fear to keep power.

Obama loves this country and will change it for the better.

Go live in fear or whatever is motivating you or wake up and smell the reality!

      You have my pity.

    • I saddens me to see how un-educated the American people are. Anyone who takes the time to read our history realizes that we have heard these same promises before. LBJ made them...and then personally sent 34,000 americans to die in Viet Nam.....Carter made them just before interest rates went to 21% and we were in...not near the biggest recession since the great depression. Karl Marx makes the same promises in the communist manifesto. Wake up people

So you would rather have different promises from John McCain? How do you know he'll follow through? Oh wait, he isn't changing anything. There's no way to screw that up, right? If you think Obama is another LBJ or another Carter, then something is wrong with you. Oh yeah, on a side note: Karl Marx didn't make any promises, he merely invented a new type of government, LBJ was clueless on military strategy, and Bush, not Carter, has caused the greatest recession since the Great Depression.
