    • i listened to the album once all the way through, and thought it was so so, even if he is trying something different, you still need to execute it to make good music.

      but now after reading this article on FADER, i think i might try to listen to it 10 more times, then form my opinion...

    • He thinks that using a vocoder in every track will make him an even bigger star like lil wayne. Kanye produces some good stuff but this time around, he missed the mark.

    • Ok im not usually one to say this...but this is so not even remotely news worthy! Personally I think his album is better than a lot of the crap thats come out this year...is it great? No. Will you all dance your butts off to it at a club? Yes.

      Kayne West is just the guy everyone loves to hate right now, Whats stupid is hes doing more than most other artists are. Even if his own work isnt top notch, hes still producing tons of amazing tracks for other artists, making phenomenal music videos,collaborating with artists and designers from around the world to create unique packaging and design.

      Now granted, Id still rather listen to some Cool Kids or Dizzie Rascal, but I respect Kanye West for what hes trying to do and for the quality of his production. Also, come on people....the raggin on Kanye thing is getting old. At least make fun of someone who has no talent or vision like Souljah Boy.

    • It's not Kanye's fault that he is a part of a dying genre of music. The album was fair considering the other people in the rap biz right now. Maybe it's time for him to broaden his musical horizons.

    • The album was different, but it being good is a whole other topic. When Prince came out with stuff that was different it sounded GOOD!! I might be an old head in spirit, but I know good music when I listen to it, and 808's & Heartbreak is just okay, not excellent or superb, it is just okay. This is my opinion.

      I watched the music awards. I enjoyed the diversity and variety of stuff. But I watched Beyonce and WOW, I watched Kanye and said WTF? He cant sing or dance. I hope he can write!
