This interview is priceless to me, not so much that it is John Lennon being interviewed but that he is openly and honestly sharing thoughts with a 14 year young man who could have easily been kicked out of the building. Fantastic!

What a great tribute. I remember my dad taking me to a Beatles movie when I was about ten years old. He was deafened by all of the girls screaming in the theatre... and I was one of them. I grew up with them and I loved John Lennon best of all. May his legacy of peace live on.

I finally caught this video on Current, I wanted to watch it on a screen bigger than my desktop... It was amazing, I wish it had never ended, listening to Lennon like that, like a lot of people have said here, I too could listen to him forever.

I wish that I could have been alive in those times. To see the Beatles in all their glory. It was the most revolutionary time in music history!

I was always a fan of British Rock and Roll. Some of the Beatles early stuff still thrills me. As does all the Stones work. The Rolling Stones are unbelievable.I have almost all of their albums. Except for the last few new ones. The Beatles, wow people still love them when they were 64.

It felt good to here Johns voice, Something that I hadn't heard before. I remember the day he was shot and killed. It was so sad, he was in the middle of a formidable comeback. I was 18. Jeez where does the time go. This kid is 54 now. Life is very quick, don't blink you just might miss it.

ColossalView:
I'm sorry, this was not a more free flowing time. There were riots in the streets. Semi-regular assassinations of political figures. There was a losing war going on. People could still be "black-balled" by the Government for holding the "wrong" political views. Now, the Internet is almost the epitome of "free flowing." You express an idea and almost immediately I can express another view. We can have a conversation and never meet each other. That's amazing! That's free flowing! This is a wonderful video. But somebody else pointed this out, this is also about an obsessed fan who was able to get closer to a celebrity than modern security would allow. Lennon "was killed by a similar, if not more deranged fanatic." There is a dark and violent side to this video.

To be young and living in the time of the Beatles. Chances are we'll (as a human race) never experience something so musically important again.
Very cool story.
