The problem with this is that there songs aren't good or funny in my opinion.

They just take 1 line that might be considered offensive and repeat it over and over, sometimes alternating offensive things.

I wasn't offended by this band, and I didn't laugh or enjoy it :/

They're too stuck up about how offensive or funny they are.

If you want "So offensive it's funny" then Exsplosm.net pulls it off 100x better then these guys do.

How about they go to Utah, get a gig just outside a Mormon church, or in another very conservative state.
Dress one guy up as Judas and one as Jesus, then have them kiss, THAT would be so offensive it's funny, not just repeating some "Politically incorrect" phrase over and over.

Offensive? Only to those who can't understand the lyrics. Not only is their music catchy, it's funny and (I'd hate to say it) relevant. Who cares what their on-stage act is? I've known some of these guys for a while now, and their people like you and me. lol well, okay, maybe a little different. I didn't offer an opinion on their music, as the entire point of punk rock is to give a "free-speech' outlet to people with absolutely NO Talent, or Socially redeeming value whatsoever...

They should try to get booked @ "The Booby Trap" (bar) in Topeka KS, & insist on having "The Klusterfux" (the midwest's longest running punk-rock band, based in Topeka) as 1 of the other bands on the ticket...Can't WAIT to see the fun when The Klusterfux do their song "NAZIS in The OZARKS"....

THE AIDS WERE SUPPOSED TO PLAY WITH THE MENTORS AND THEY HATE US THE WEEK AFTER AT THE SAME CLUB BUT SINCE THE CLUB WAS FUCKING LAME THEY SHUT DOWN THE MENTORS SHOW CAUSE OF ADAM FROM THE AIDS PERFORMANCE AND DINO SEX FROM THE MURDER JUNKIES NAKED DRUMMING. THAT CLUB IS GAY THOSE BANDS KICK ASS

The AIDS are certainly not about performing well musically. The night the band was founded, the decision was made that nobody would play instruments that they knew well.

The time I found most enjoyable was when I went to go see them in a small hall in some small CT town. This hall was run by a school and there were about 40 kids (11-15). They were digging it hardcore. This was the night after Anna Nicole died and the AIDS already produced the song which they performed for the first time that night. The hall shut down at 10pm due to curfew.

The AIDS are sweeping the nation! If you're writing about them not doing something well then you are completely missing the point and I hope watching this will give you nightmares where all the members are gang-banging your face.

Take it fucking easy. These guys are doing exactly what they want with no worries and are obviously having a fucking blast while doing it. Its not about being the most musically talented. And i'm sorry, but South Park is a fucking joke compared to the aids. Its a joke compared to a lot of things. There might be another shock rock band out there, just like theres a million rock bands, that doesn't mean their unoriginal, it just means its a big fucking country. And michael jackson SHOULD be knighted.

I think the video is done very well Mike. As for these guys... nice! People do take themselves too seriously sometimes. It's always a nice thing to have a way to escape reality.

Bad music...GREAT free speach lesson! Don't like it, don't listen. Loosen up people. Let's get those skeletons out of the closet and say what you mean for once! When people say they can't talk about the gay population, what are they really saying? When they say they won't accept or even listen to a different viewpoint, what does that say? Weeding through lie after lie and getting to the truth is important, and it can only be done when all views are voiced. This band is both right and wrong at all times. How can you blame them when they are being honest about what they're doing?

ive seen them live a few times and its definitely more than this video shows. also i remember when those people stormed the stage and dragged them off and what not, they talked about it for days afterwards saying how they showed those 'racists fucks' and things like that. i just laughed.

Yea the music sucks but that's not the point....it's the lyrics and live performance that purposely targets religion and other topics and issues that we always mark as "off limits" for joking about or ridiculing.
and it has more balls than a cartoon like south park because it is a live human performance, not animation.
my advice is to see the live show---this is wayyyy toned down for TV. it's a great social experiment and fun to see how people react when they see a performance that purposely attacks and breaks through all the social boundaries that are ingrained in us from birth

in addition to the fact that it was well put together, the aids seem just crazy. there not even that offensive, my grandma makes more offensive jokes. not really my thing but i wouldn't mind seeing them play a couple of times. thanks for spreading the word

I think Mike Havok's angles and style is good, although, this band is not only offensive, they do not have true musical talent. At least have something going for you besides bathroom humor and making fun of AIDS.
So being sarcastic. Any venue that promotes them must be pretty desperate for action.

I'v seen things like this before, it's not shocking or new...it feels like they have not lived or actualy believe in what they are preachig but are just doing it to become famous....and thats not what art is all about.
As for your work on the documentary Havok, it was great. Keep up the good work and show us more ...

I appreciate everyone's artistic expression in some way or another. People who hate you should like you for the fact that you remind them of the things they do love. Without you, they might forget.
