Anybody who thinks it's tough playing the halftime show at the Super Bowl with 150 million people watching should try serenading Barack Obama with the majestic granite visage of Abraham Lincoln staring over your shoulder.

    • Not impressed, having worked with Clapton, Nugent, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray, they theyall had one thing in common, they thought Bruce sucks.

He may pass for New Jersey noise to the local's but has no credibility or appreciation from the real bluesmen of the world.

He's good enough to make records sales with medicore music to people with like taste, re Obama.

My credintials are I've worked with the above, plus Beck, Eagles, Stones, etc etc hold songwriter, blues artist and blues record sales award, and I too have been in Rolling stone, Guitar Player Mag, etc etc. He once wanted to buy a Fender broadcaster off of me and I refused it out of respect to Leo Fender.

I expect many to disagree, but this is what the folks that ARE the music have said, so your argument isn't with me.

He's starting to remind me of Cat Stevens.
