making books like this is a pointless endeavor. if i started writing one right now, by the time i got done there would be thirty new genres and a lot of music that you cant even fit into a genre. at least you can wipe your arse with the pages

Erm...
Me thinks the Times could've done so much better on this.
There's no UK hip-hop mentioned, no nu-rave, no breakbeat, and no drum and bass - one of the only forms of music to originate solely from the UK.
