Dance music pioneers Kraftwerk, UK legends Massive Attack, nu-rave kids the Klaxons and Sarkozy's favourite band, MGMT, are all set to headline this year's Bestival.
Taking part on the Isle of Wight from 11th - 13th September, Bestival is the festival curated by Rob da Bank, and quite frankly, I'm ashamed I still haven't been.
This year is going to see me finally fix up my ways and head to the little white isle...

I saw them at EXIT this year and they were too cool. It was fun to see them play with a bunch of other bands/DJs that owe a lot to Kraftwerk.

Kraftwerk still find ways of being very relevant in music even while being somewhat antiquated. DJ wise the festival looks solid. Band wise, basically it's a lot of bands that owe a lot to Kraftwerk. A big thing with a genre like this is the songs have to be good, even if they are experimental in some way shape or form. i am not blown away by the non headlining bands.
