I suppose we'll never know what really happened here, but I agree it doesn't send out a great message to her fans, especially when she had the support of some high profile stars (including Whitney Houston) who asked her to think carefully about reuniting with Brown.

How disappointing. I feel for Rihanna, I really do. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision for her to go back to a boyfriend who beat her around the face till she needed hospital treatment. And I'm sure she believes him when he tells her she brought it on herself by provoking him. But what are her friends/family/management doing standing by whilst she does this? Not least because it sends out a horrendous message to her young and impressionable fanbase that domestic abuse is acceptable and forgiveable. But mostly because she is a danger unto herself. Domestic abuse rarely happens just the once. Rihanna - you are young and beautiful and talented. Get out, you can do so much better.
