Next Korn Album Going For 'Old-School' Sound

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis revealed to The Pulse of Radio last week that guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer, bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu and drummer Ray Luzier are in the studio writing music for the next Korn album. The band's ninth effort will be produced by Ross Robinson, who also worked on their first two albums.

    • My best friend is huge on the band KoRn I was getting more into our underground metal scene here. One band I listen to is influenced slightly by KoRn but they play a heavier and more technical sound with the guitars meaning he's a shredder. If KoRn used more solos in their stuff I just might have one CD or two of theirs. I had their Pink Floyd cover of Brick In The Wall on their greatest hits disc then I discovered one of them can actually belt out solos on their stuff, but why the hell don't they put the guitar solos on their own work.

    • Just stop already... please! Go out with some dignity...

      They suck live and haven't put out a decent album since Life is Peachy and even that was questionable.

      Their self titled album is the only stuff I ever really cared for...
