I am 53 and always dreamed of playing the piano in public. That video gave me hope. As far as Adam Lampert I think he is a brilliant artist and that is what should count in a competition like Idol.

Like it or not, American Idol's ratings still beat any other show on Tuesday and Wednesday. I agree that show has become stale and predictable. The judges do not add anything of interest. But as far as the articles question..? No, it should have nothing to do with Alan winning or losing if he's gay or not. It's a singing competition not a Adult sex Video.

Hell if I care. American Idol has been dead to me since they kicked off Sanjaya. I only watched to vote him in to ruin the show. The sooner shows like American Idol cease to pollute the airwaves, the sooner we can get back to quality scripted television rather than the mundane cheap to produce crap that gets thrown around now 'a days.

Alan is the one to beat this season. There are many of them that are 'forgetable' as Simon puts it. Alan is not one of them. His voice is great and it truly doesnt matter if he is gay or not, shouldn't even be an issue.
