A few weeks ago Nine Inch Nails launched their very own Apple Iphone App that allowed users to, among many things, stream several songs from the band’s catalog in full. Well a few days ago the band sent Apple an update for the App that included the band’s 1994 album ‘The Downward Spiral‘, well Apple REJECTED the update.

well, if the music doesnt speak to you that's your problem. nothing i can do in that department. there is something i can do about your ignorance. you at least have to appreciate his production talent. trent has been one of the most vital artists in music for quite a while now. the saul williams free or 5 dollars album release that came out before in rainbows? not to mention he's been very outspoken against the current music industry and major labels. plus hes the most humble of dudes. check out his interview on digg.

and sell out to apple? have you read about the app? have you read why apple declined the latest update?
the app was created entirely for the fans.

please look your shit up before you ctrl v another fucking sax link. you've heard of the internet? wikipedia that shit and educate yourself.

    • Mike(Trent) Rezor is an awesome guy ! NIN is just one of the many awesome projects he does! Apple is a great company! They are the leader in computers for music! Guitar Center will even tell you that! Apple needs to quit with some of their little pissy fits though! NIN created this app right? It's their music their app, just let them put what ever they want on it! Apple isn't the PMRC what the hell do they have to gain from blocking one CD from this app??? Seriously Apple isn't thinking at all on this one!!!

    • Exactly. Apple wants a piece of it, and NIN basically is saying there is no piece to give. NIN continues to be brilliant in their maneuvering.

    • "...but you could literally turn around 180 degrees from where the NIN record would be and purchase the film “Scarface” completely uncensored, or buy a copy of Grand Theft Auto where you can be rewarded for beating up prostitutes. How does that make sense?"

      More hypocritical censorship
