Gaspar Noe's new project,"Enter the Void", will show at this year's Cannes festival in France. It was shot in Tokyo, giving the film lots of cool neon light stills.
The Plot as told by director Gaspar Noe:
"Enter the Void is about a young man who, after the brutal death of his parents, promises that he will protect his little sister no matter what and who, sensing that he himself is dying, fights desperately to keep his promise. A film where the life of one person is linked to the love he has for another human being."
So it's the typical drug drama plot... Boy becomes a drug addict while sister strips to make ends meet...and the kicker: it was shot to resemble a hallucinatory experience.
AND the film will be scored by Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. Bangalter also provided the score for Noe's 2002 film, "Irreversible".
(That bit of information is enough for me to see this movie)
